Numbers labeled live are Disney's posted waits, sampled within the last few minutes — each shows its as-of time. Model means our forecast when nothing is posted: before park open, or bridging short mid-day gaps. If a ride stays dark we show it as downtime rather than a number. Typical is the range for this weekday from months of minute-by-minute observation, with sample counts. Every number on this page carries one of those labels.
What time are lines shortest at Disney World?
The first hour after rope drop and the last two before close. Typical waits at most parks peak from late morning to mid-afternoon and fall off sharply in the final evening hours — each park board on this page shows the exact shape for today.
How often do wait times update?
Live boards refresh about every 10 minutes. The first paint of this page is a build-time snapshot of typical waits — clearly labeled — and live numbers replace it in place. You'll never see a blank tile or a spinner.
