It never books new Lightning Lanes
You buy and book in the Disney app, exactly as you do today. Fast Forward only moves the ones you already hold.
It never moves you later
A return time only ever goes earlier. If nothing better than your current time is available, Fast Forward holds and does nothing.
It never acts on a Lightning Lane you didn’t arm
Arming is an explicit per-ride choice. New bookings show up unarmed, and disarming stops the watching immediately.

FAQ: Lightning Lane Fast Forward
Is it safe to let it change my Lightning Lane?
It runs on your own Disney account, using the same booking system you do. Before anything changes, Fast Forward confirms the earlier slot and only then releases the original one — so a swap that Disney declines leaves your existing return time exactly as it was. It can only move Lightning Lanes you armed yourself, and you can disarm any of them at any time.
What if Disney changes or cancels my return time?
Fast Forward re-reads your real Lightning Lanes every cycle rather than trusting what it saw last. If Disney moves a return window, Fast Forward keeps watching against the new one; if the Lightning Lane is cancelled or redeemed, the session ends on its own and the card drops off your list. It never acts on a stale copy of your day.
Does it work for my whole party?
Yes — a Lightning Lane moves as one. Everyone on that Lightning Lane gets the new return time together, so your party is never split across two windows. The first time you arm a ride we say so explicitly and ask you to confirm.
Does it work at Disneyland as well as Walt Disney World?
Both. Walt Disney World and Disneyland are independent sign-ins at Disney, so you connect whichever resort you are visiting — connecting one does not connect the other. Fast Forward then watches that resort’s Lightning Lanes for today.
