Mickey Alerts research

Find the data for your Disney trip

Start with your planning question. These public tools explain our crowd forecasts, wait-time observations, dining research and booking rules, with the dates and evidence you need to interpret them.

Use the evidence in context

Choose the park, dates and question you need, then open the matching tool below. Each source carries its own coverage and freshness labels. Use its displayed observation window or verification date; the date you opened a page is not the date its information was collected.

Historical observations, typical patterns, forecasts and live readings answer different questions. Crowd scores compare a park with its own history. A worked example is not a personalized result, and a forecast is not a guarantee of actual waits or available reservations.

Interactive calculators need your inputs to produce a result. If a page only shows an example or a dated snapshot, use that label when explaining it. When data is missing or outside the supported dates, keep that limitation visible.

Our prediction scorecard reports model performance, and our park-day research explains measured patterns. This directory links to public planning results and research; it does not offer bulk forecast or historical-data downloads.

Crowd calendars

How busy will each park be on my dates?

Daily park-relative crowd scores for the six Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks. Follow the park and month links for the dates you need.

Useful details: Resort, park and travel dates.

How to read it: Observed days and projected days are labeled separately. Read the coverage and data-through dates; 1–10 scores are relative to each park, not absolute comparisons between parks.

Best days at Disney World

Which park should we visit on each day of our Disney World trip?

Compare park days using crowd evidence, weekday patterns and ticketed-party-day research. The public tool supports date-specific park-day planning.

Useful details: Travel window, parks and preferences supported by the tool.

How to read it: Worked examples are not personalized results. Observed party-day differences are descriptive, not proof that the party caused the difference.

Best days at Disneyland

Which days work best for Disneyland and California Adventure?

Compare Disneyland Resort park days using the published crowd and weekday evidence and the public planning tool.

Useful details: Travel dates and preferred parks.

How to read it: Keep the two parks and observed-versus-projected labels distinct. Do not claim the page ran a custom optimization unless the tool actually returned one.

Wait times and attraction research

When should we ride, and what waits should we expect?

Park boards and individual attraction pages show available posted waits, typical time-of-day patterns, monthly history and coverage labels.

Useful details: Park and attraction; date where the tool supports it.

How to read it: Distinguish live readings, historical typical waits and model estimates. A prerendered page can be a dated snapshot; only call a value live when its timestamp supports that claim.

Rope-drop guides

Which rides should we prioritize at park opening?

Per-park opening strategies based on typical recorded waits and opening-hour evidence.

Useful details: Park, ride priorities and eligibility for early entry.

How to read it: Typical patterns are not guaranteed waits on a particular day. Confirm that day's park hours and closures.

Free Disney day planner

What could a day in this park look like?

Public park-day planning tools and per-park worked example itineraries, using typical waits and park schedules.

Useful details: Park and the dates or preferences accepted by the interactive tool.

How to read it: Example itineraries are examples, not a live plan computed for the visitor. Reading a page does not execute the interactive calculator or create a booking.

Disney World park hours

When are the parks open, and which extra hours apply?

Dated standard, early-entry, extended-evening and ticketed-event windows for Walt Disney World.

Useful details: Park, visit date and guest eligibility.

How to read it: Preserve the date and source-check time. Early entry, extended hours and separately ticketed hours have different admission requirements.

Disneyland ride closures

Will this Disneyland attraction be closed during our visit?

Reviewed closure information for Disneyland Resort attractions, with dated evidence where available.

Useful details: Park, attraction and visit dates.

How to read it: An unknown reopening date stays unknown. Temporary downtime today does not establish a closure on a future date.

Disney World height requirements

Which Disney World rides fit our party's heights?

Reviewed minimum heights and accompanying-rider rules for Walt Disney World attractions.

Useful details: Park, rider height and units; accompanying-rider needs.

How to read it: Use the current reviewed rule and evidence status. Disney's on-site measurement and operating rules determine boarding eligibility.

Disneyland height requirements

Which Disneyland Resort rides fit our party's heights?

Reviewed height and accompanying-rider requirements for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Useful details: Park, rider height and units; accompanying-rider needs.

How to read it: Use the displayed source date and rule status. Do not carry a similarly named Disney World ride's rule over to Disneyland.

Dining reservation calculator

When can we start making dining reservations?

Dining booking-window rules and a calculator with dated examples for supported Disney destinations.

Useful details: Destination, arrival or dining date and eligible hotel-stay details.

How to read it: Booking windows are opportunities to search, not guarantees of available tables. This calculator does not make reservations.

Disney booking calendar

What are our Lightning Lane and DVC booking deadlines?

Public booking-window calculations and policy explanations for supported Lightning Lane and DVC scenarios.

Useful details: Dates, destination, stay eligibility and the booking type's required details.

How to read it: Use the applicable policy and local time zone. A calculated deadline does not confirm entitlement or availability.

Lightning Lane observations

Which Lightning Lanes tend to run out first?

Published observed-depletion statistics, eligible-day counts, exclusions and crowd-level comparisons, separating Multi, Single and Premier products.

Useful details: Resort, attraction and pass product.

How to read it: Use the displayed historical window and sample counts. Missing price evidence is unavailable, not zero; historical prices or depletion patterns do not guarantee today's availability.

Lightning Lane strategy

How do Lightning Lanes work?

Multi Pass, Single Pass and Premier Pass explanations, booking windows, park-specific strategy and reservation modification guidance.

Useful details: Resort, visit date, pass product and hotel eligibility.

How to read it: Disney World Multi Pass booking after redeeming a selection must not be confused with Disneyland's redemption-or-two-hour rule. Follow the guide's dated, resort-specific rules.

Lightning Lane cost calculator

What would Lightning Lane cost our party?

Compare per-person and party costs for Multi, Single and Premier Pass using the visitor's own labeled quotes and optional wait-saving assumptions.

Useful details: Resort, party size, selected products and price quotes.

How to read it: User-entered prices are assumptions, not current Disney quotes. Cost-per-hour estimates depend on the supplied wait-saving assumptions.

Disney Dining Plan calculator

Would a dining plan be worth it for our intended meals?

Compare cash and supported Walt Disney World dining-plan scenarios, including credits, participating meals, tax and tip assumptions.

Useful details: Travel year, eligible guests, nights, meals and the visitor's own labeled plan quote.

How to read it: Preserve quote and meal assumptions. Unused credits have no assumed cash value; the calculator does not book or purchase a plan.

Hardest Disney World dining reservations

Which Disney World restaurants need the most advance planning?

Measured availability-frequency rankings with party-size, meal-period and day-of-week comparisons where evidence supports them.

Useful details: Restaurant, party size and meal preferences.

How to read it: Scan frequency and sample coverage affect the result. Historical availability frequency is not a live table opening or the probability that an individual guest will book.

Hardest Disneyland dining reservations

Which Disneyland restaurants are hardest to reserve?

Disneyland Resort availability-frequency rankings kept separate from Walt Disney World observations.

Useful details: Restaurant, party size and meal preferences.

How to read it: Use the published observation window and sample counts; these rankings are historical research, not live reservation inventory.

DVC availability calendars

Where can we explore observed DVC points availability?

Free resort calendars with observed room-category inventory, nightly points and partial-stay information. Follow the resort links for relevant details.

Useful details: Resort, dates, party size, room category and accessibility needs.

How to read it: Each category has its own check time; a page refresh is not a new Disney inventory check. Member-linked alerts require a connected membership and an eligible plan. Disney confirms final bookability.

Disney offers tracker

Which published Disney offers might apply to our trip?

Published room-offer terms, eligible audiences, travel windows and booking deadlines where available.

Useful details: Destination, travel dates and eligibility for the offer.

How to read it: An advertised offer does not establish matching room inventory or a final price. Verify the offer's freshness, restrictions and Disney booking result.

Event dates and guides

Which parties or festivals overlap our trip?

Reviewed Disney party and festival guides. Public ticketed-party guides link individual dated listings with local start/end times, venues and official sources.

Useful details: Destination, event and travel dates.

How to read it: Check the year and verification date. Past listings are schedule archives; published dates do not mean tickets remain available. Confirm ticket status with Disney.

Prediction scorecard

How well have Mickey Alerts predictions performed?

Published aggregate grading of crowd and wait-time predictions against observations, including errors and coverage limitations.

Useful details: The metric and evaluation window being compared.

How to read it: Past performance is not a guarantee. Compare like metrics and windows, and retain the reported sample sizes and exclusions.

Restaurant planning guides

What should we know before trying to reserve this restaurant?

Individual restaurant guides with booking-window explanations, meal distinctions and official source links.

Useful details: Destination, restaurant, dining date and meal preference.

How to read it: Restaurant information and historical demand do not confirm a live table. Check dated details and Disney for final availability.

Dining experience guides

How do we plan for a dessert party, dining package or dinner show?

Public guides to bookable dining experiences, including location, reservation requirements and official sources.

Useful details: Destination, experience and intended date.

How to read it: A generic experience guide is not a dated event listing or proof of available inventory. Prepayment and cancellation terms depend on the specific experience.
