The Mickey Alerts app · iPhone

Plan at home. Run the day from your pocket.

The Mickey Alerts app is where your plan goes when you walk through the gate. It tells you what to do next, re-plans the day when a line balloons or a ride goes down, walks you there turn by turn, and runs Fast Forward on your Lightning Lanes while you ride.

In the park

What it does once you are through the gate

  • “What do I do next?”

One tap, a short ranked list of moves from where you are standing: live waits, your Lightning Lane return times, your reservations and how far each one is to walk.

  • Re-plans your day as it happens

A ride goes down, a line doubles, lunch runs long. The schedule reshuffles around what you have already done and what is still worth doing.

  • Turn-by-turn walking directions

The park map with a walking route from where you are to your next stop, so you never cross the wrong land to get there.

  • Fast Forward for Lightning Lanes

Pick the rides, and Fast Forward books your Lightning Lanes when they open, moves them to earlier return times all day, and books the next one when you check in at a ride.

  • Your alerts, with you

Add a hotel or dining alert from the Alerts tab, keep an eye on the ones running, and set quiet hours for alert texts.

  • Push notifications

A Lightning Lane moved earlier, your plan needs a look, something changed for your day. The app tells you, instead of waiting for you to refresh.

How it fits together

Plan on the web. Run the day in the app.

Everything you build on mickeyalerts.com is in the app the next time you open it, and what the app changes in the park shows up on the website.

  1. Plan the trip on the website. Pick your parks, your must-dos and your dining. The park planner orders each day for the least walking and waiting, and sets up your Fast Forward goals.
  2. Open the app and it is there. The Schedule tab holds every park day and the Alerts tab holds every alert. Nothing to export, nothing to type in twice.
  3. In the park, live on the Today tab. Tap “What do I do next?”, follow the walking directions, check in at the ride, and let Fast Forward keep working on your Lightning Lanes while you are in line.

Questions

FAQ: the Mickey Alerts app

Is the Mickey Alerts app free?

Yes. The app is free to download, and its park day — “What do I do next?”, re-planning, the map and walking directions — comes with every Mickey Alerts account. Fast Forward is in a free preview for every account. Your plan decides which alerts you can run, the same as on the website.

Is there an Android app?

It is coming to Google Play. Until then, Android users have everything on mickeyalerts.com, and the park planner works in a phone browser.

Do I still need Disney’s app?

Yes. Disney’s app holds your tickets and your Lightning Lane passes, and that is what you scan at the gate and the ride. Mickey Alerts plans the day, tells you what to do next and works your Lightning Lanes on your own Disney account.

Do I plan my trip in the app or on the website?

Either. Most people build the trip on the website, where there is room to see the whole week, and run each park day from the app. Both read the same plan, so a change in one shows up in the other.

Can I subscribe inside the app?

Plans are bought on mickeyalerts.com. The app signs you in with the same phone number and picks your plan up from there.
