Disney Dining Alerts
A Disney dining alert watches one restaurant for the date, party size and meal you want, and texts you the moment a matching table opens — usually a cancellation. You then book it yourself in the Disney app or on Disney’s site. Alerts don’t book anything; that is a separate service, dining auto-booking, compared below.
How to set up a Disney dining alert
- Choose the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner at one restaurant are the same restaurant with different meal windows; a lounge Disney lists separately is its own restaurant.
- Pick the date you want to eat.
- Set your party size. You only hear about tables that fit your party.
- Choose a meal window or a specific time — breakfast, lunch, dinner, all day, or an exact time with some flexibility.
- Create the alert. We check availability around the clock and text you when a matching table opens; you complete the booking with Disney.

When do Disney dining reservations open?
Disney publishes its advance dining reservation window in its own dining reservation FAQs — the Walt Disney World FAQ (checked 2026-09-08) and the Disneyland Resort FAQ (checked 2026-09-08). Check the current window there. You can create an alert before your date opens, and it keeps watching.

Is a dining alert the same as dining auto-booking?
No. An alert tells you a table opened and you book it. Dining auto-booking is a separate service on The Club plan that books the table on your own linked Disney account the moment it opens. Prepaid restaurants are always alert-only.
Can I watch breakfast and dinner at the same restaurant separately?
Yes. Pick a meal window — breakfast, lunch or dinner — or a specific time when you set the alert, so you only hear about the meal you want. A lounge Disney lists separately from its restaurant, like Space 220 Lounge, is its own restaurant with its own alert.
Do I need to link my Disney account to get dining alerts?
No. An alert only needs the restaurant, date, party size and time window. Linking your Disney account is required only for auto-booking.
