How is this Disneyland reservation-difficulty ranking measured?
Mickey Alerts scans Disney's own dining availability for every restaurant, hourly, at party sizes 2–8 across the next 60 bookable dates. Each restaurant's score is simply the share of those successful scans that found at least one open table — a measured frequency with its sample size shown, not an editorial guess.
Why do some restaurants show "not enough scans to rank"?
A rate computed from a thin sample would be false precision. A restaurant needs at least 120 successful scans across 5 distinct scan days to be ranked; below either floor it is listed with its raw numbers but excluded from the ranking until enough scans accrue.
Why aren't quick-service restaurants listed?
Quick-service restaurants and other venues that do not take reservations have no table to find, so scoring them 0% would be misleading. Venues we could not verify as reservation products — not offered by Disney's reservation system in the window and not confirmed on Disney's restaurant page — are excluded rather than scored.
