If the room you want isn't available, you can set up a Disney's Lakeshore Lodge hotel alert. Mickey Alerts checks Disney's booking site around the clock and texts you the moment a matching room opens. Getting started is free, and you book directly with Disney.
Lakeshore Lodge reservations: What you can book now
You don't need to be a DVC member or annual passholder to book a stay from July 1, 2027 onward. DVC Members booking with points should use Disney Vacation Club's own booking tools. Mickey Alerts also offers separate DVC point availability alerts.
Where Disney's Lakeshore Lodge fits into your trip
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is a new Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, part of Disney Vacation Club, on the shore of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. It sits beside Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
Disney describes the resort as a waterfront retreat celebrating nature and the ways it has inspired Disney stories. Room themes draw on Bambi, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Fantasia and Encanto.
If you've been searching for “Lakeside Lodge,” you're looking for the same project. Disney first announced it in 2018 as “Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge.” The official name is now Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. Search for that name when you set up a hotel alert.
Lakeshore Lodge room types, explained
There are 23 bookable room types across six categories. The differences go beyond sleeping capacity: studios have different bed setups, while villas and Lake Houses include full kitchens and a washer and dryer.
| Room category | What to know | Who should consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Deluxe Studios | Sleep 4 with 1 queen bed and a queen-size pull-down. Include a kitchenette and patio or balcony. Available in Resort, Preferred and Premium View. | Families of four who want a kitchenette and a choice of view tiers |
| Duo Studios | Sleep 2 on a queen-size pull-down bed. Include a kitchenette and patio or balcony, with Preferred View. | Couples comfortable with a pull-down bed who want a kitchenette |
| Resort Studios | Hotel-style rooms with 2 queens that sleep 4 or 1 king that sleeps 2. Include a mini fridge and microwave, with one “No Balcony” studio option. | Families who want two queen beds or couples who prefer a king |
| Club Access rooms and suites | Resort Studios with access to The Artist's Nest lounge, plus the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite, which sleeps 6. | Travelers who want a club lounge |
| Villas | Full kitchen, washer and dryer, living and dining areas, and balcony. A 1 bedroom sleeps 5, a 2 bedroom sleeps 9, and a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa sleeps 12 and has Premium View. | Larger families and multigenerational groups who want kitchen and laundry facilities |
| A-frame Lake Houses | On the water with 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, washer and dryer, private patio and Bay Lake views. A 1 bedroom sleeps 5; a 2 bedroom sleeps 8. | Families or groups who want a waterfront stay with a private patio |
Pay attention to the sleeping counts when comparing villas and Lake Houses. A 2 bedroom villa sleeps 9, while a 2 bedroom Lake House sleeps 8. Similar names don't necessarily mean the same capacity.
The Resort Studio's “No Balcony” option also deserves a close look before you book. If a balcony matters to you, check the exact room description instead of stopping at the category name.
What each view tier means
Disney's view labels describe different outlooks:
- Resort View: Woodlands or parking.
- Preferred View: Pool or partial Bay Lake.
- Premium View: Partial views of Magic Kingdom park or its fireworks.
Lake Houses have Bay Lake views.
The word “partial” matters here. A Premium View description doesn't promise an unobstructed view of the park or its fireworks. Choose based on the published description and what you're comfortable paying for that outlook.
The complete Lakeshore Lodge room list includes every room type with its views, beds and sleeping counts. Use it to identify your first choice and a backup before creating alerts.
What Lakeshore Lodge costs
Pricing is deluxe-tier. Published starting rates run from roughly $500 a night for a Duo Studio to nearly $3,000 a night for the Lake Houses and the Grand Villa. Rates vary by date and party size, so treat that range as a starting point for planning. Check the rate for your actual stay before booking.
Why your preferred room may show sold out
Premium View rooms, Lake Houses and Club Access rooms have the fewest units. That makes them the most likely options to show sold out. A new resort's opening summer also tends to book up early.
Still, an unavailable search result doesn't mean that room will stay unavailable. Rooms come back when other guests cancel or change their plans. Once they return, they can disappear again within minutes.
Instead of repeatedly checking Lakeshore Lodge availability, you can get a text when a room matching your alert opens. You'll still need to act on it and complete the reservation with Disney.
How to set up your Lakeshore Lodge alert
- Choose Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. Select the resort, your travel dates and your party. Your stay must begin July 1, 2027 or later.
- Choose what to watch. Pick an exact room type, such as a 1 Bedroom Lake House or a Premium View Deluxe Studio. You can also watch the whole resort.
- Watch for the text. Mickey Alerts checks Disney's booking site around the clock and sends a text the moment a matching room opens.
- Book directly with Disney. Follow up promptly when the text arrives. Mickey Alerts never holds or resells rooms.
Mickey Alerts is independent and isn't affiliated with Disney. For more detail on the process, read how Disney hotel alerts work.
Give yourself a useful backup
Set one alert for the exact room you want and a second for the next view tier down. If Premium View is your first choice, a Preferred View alert gives you another option to consider.
If your dates show unavailable, try a stay one night longer or shorter. New resorts are often limited by length of stay, so adjusting the stay length is worth checking if your plans allow it.
Stay signed in to your Disney account so you're ready to book when the text arrives. Availability can change within minutes.
If you're considering another resort as a backup, browse all Disney hotel alerts.
Set up your room alert
Choose your dates and first-choice room for a stay beginning July 1, 2027 or later. Visit the Lakeshore Lodge alert page and select “Start alert for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge.” Add a second alert for your backup view tier.
