About Disney's Lakeshore Lodge
Disney describes Lakeshore Lodge as an all-new Disney Deluxe Villa Resort on the tranquil shores of Bay Lake, a waterfront retreat that celebrates the magic of nature and how it has inspired decades of Disney stories. Rooms draw on films such as Bambi, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Fantasia and Encanto.
The resort was first announced in 2018 under the name Reflections - A Disney Lakeside Lodge, which is why some people still search for it as Lakeside Lodge. The official name is Disney's Lakeshore Lodge.
Views are sold in three tiers. Resort View rooms look over woodlands or parking areas. Preferred View rooms look over the pool or have partial views of Bay Lake. Premium View rooms have partial views of Magic Kingdom park or its fireworks. The A-frame Lake Houses sit on the water with Bay Lake views.

How to get the room you want
- Alerts work for stays from July 1, 2027 onward. Earlier dates are not bookable because the resort is not open yet.
- Premium View rooms, the Lake Houses and Club Access rooms have the fewest units, so they are the ones most likely to show sold out. Set an alert on the exact room type and add a second one for the next view tier down.
- Disney often limits new resorts by length of stay. If your dates show unavailable, try an alert for a stay one night longer or shorter.
- Rooms come back when other guests cancel or change plans, and they can be gone again within minutes. Stay signed in to your Disney account so you can book as soon as the text arrives.
