One Day at Disney California Adventure: An Example Plan
A worked one-day example for Disney California Adventure, built from the standby waits we record every minute at Disneyland Resort: the rides that are shortest right at opening, the ones that hold steady while the headliners peak, and the ones that empty out before close — with walking time, lunch and a break between them.

Disney California Adventure one-day plan FAQ
Is this Disney California Adventure plan a prediction for my date?
No. It is an example day built from Disney California Adventure’s typical recorded waits and its usual park hours. Crowds, hours and ride closures on your date can differ — check the crowd calendar and rope-drop guide for your dates.
Why are some rides left out?
A ride is only scheduled when we have enough recorded waits for its opening hour and midday, and only when it fits before the park closes. Anything left out is listed with the reason, so nothing is silently dropped.
Where do the walking, meal and break times come from?
They are our own labelled assumptions — a few minutes within a land, longer between lands, 45 minutes for lunch and an hour’s break — not figures published by Disney.
Can I turn this into my own plan?
Yes. “Build this day in the planner” carries this park and its rides into the park planner, where you pick your date and edit everything. Nothing is booked, bought or reserved.
