What the festival is
Festival of the Arts is EPCOT's celebration of visual, performing and culinary arts. Disney's highlights from the 2026 festival — offerings may change for 2027 — include art displays and working artists, artful photo ops, Expression Section: A Paint by Numbers Mural, chalk art galleries and Kids' Chalk Art, alongside Food Studios serving bites and sips with a creative twist.
DISNEY ON BROADWAY and guaranteed seating
During the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series, performers sing songs from DISNEY ON BROADWAY musicals; the 2026 concerts featured hits from Aladdin, Frozen, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Tarzan, Newsies and more. Disney hasn't posted 2027 performers, showtimes or seating details yet (“Check back this winter for more information”).
For a guaranteed seat, Disney sells DISNEY ON BROADWAY dining packages that pair a meal at an EPCOT restaurant with a guaranteed seat at one of that day's performances. Restaurants, prices and on-sale timing are published by Disney per season — check the package page rather than last year's lists.
Planning dining and crowds around the festival
A dining package and a regular table are different reservations. For a regular table, our dining reservation calculator shows when Disney opens booking for your date. For crowds, our EPCOT crowd calendar scores each day from wait-time observations we collect every 1–5 minutes, so you can compare weekend and weekday festival days from measurements.
Compare festival days with measured EPCOT crowd data
Our EPCOT crowd calendar publishes a measured crowd level for every day, updated daily from the posted waits we record every 1–5 minutes — useful for choosing between festival weekends and weekdays once the season's dates are set.
Watch the DISNEY ON BROADWAY dining package
Guaranteed DISNEY ON BROADWAY seating only comes with a dining package. Mickey Alerts watches the package and texts you when one shows as available for your date — you complete the booking with Disney, and an alert never guarantees a package.
